The Raytheon Industry 4.0 (I4.0) team is seeking an experienced and results-oriented Sr. Manager, I4.0 Project Management Excellence with a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of manufacturing processes and a proven track record of delivering complex digital & cyber-physical solutions on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

The candidate will possess a blend of technical proficiency, project management expertise, leadership abilities, and business acumen to ensure projects are successfully completed, on time, and within budget while driving innovation. This individual is responsible for leading our I4.0 Project Management Excellence team with proper planning, execution and monitoring of projects including earned value performance tracking and status and delivering quality capabilities that meet requirements.

This role works across functions and levels in the business supporting a complex network of existing and developing digital and cyber-physical factory automation systems, creating I4.0 within the business. The candidate will work in a highly collaborative, innovative, geographically distributed team, and will be working in an Agile management framework.

What You Will Do

  • Oversee a portfolio of complex projects, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives
  • Monitor the overall project portfolio performance and identify potential risks and opportunities
  • Directly manage high-impact, cross-functional projects
  • Develop and implement strategic project management plans
  • Manage, mentor and develop teams to enhance their skills and capabilities, while providing guidance on complex issues and challenges
  • Expected to Travel up to 25% of the time

Qualifications You Must Have  

  • Typically requires a bachelor’s in engineering or business-related field (STEM preferred) minimum of 10+ years relevant professional experience, with at least 8 years of team leadership experience (Team Lead/REA, IPTL, PM, or functional management).
  • Demonstrated project management skills, including the ability to develop project plans, scheduling, manage budgets including EV techniques, manage R&Os and lead cross-functional teams to successful project completion.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing product strategies, with a track record of successfully translating customer needs and market trends into viable and impactful product ideas.
  • Experience developing business cases and Return on Investment (ROI) analyses
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience with Capital funding
  • Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment involving cross-functional teams 
  • Raytheon Project Management level 6 certification and/or PMP certification
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies
  • Experience with Product management tools (Jira, DevOps, etc.)
  • Experience with transition to production of software products, automation systems or similar
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Knowledge of relevant business sectors, have established relationships with leaders, and be familiar with the product lines, customer base, and manufacturing operations.

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
