Als Product- & Project Engineer – Custom Manufacturing Services (CMS) bij Avantor speel je een sleutelrol in het ontwerpen en leveren van op maat gemaakte chemische oplossingen voor onze klanten wereldwijd. Van het eerste concept tot de eerste productierun leid jij productengineeringprojecten die voldoen aan de hoogste normen op het gebied van kwaliteit, veiligheid en regelgeving. Door samen te werken met interne teams en externe partners, help je complexe klantverzoeken om te zetten in innovatieve, hoogwaardige chemische producten.

Jouw Verantwoordelijkheden

• Analyseren van klantspecificaties en vertalen naar technische vereisten
• Ontwerpen en ontwikkelen van op maat gemaakte chemische oplossingen in samenwerking met interne afdelingen (productie, laboratorium, QA, regulatory affairs) en externe leveranciers 
• Toezicht houden op testen en de eerste productierun van maatwerkproducten 
• Berekenen van kostprijzen en bewaken van economische haalbaarheid 
• Technische ondersteuning bieden aan interne teams en klanten 
• Gelijktijdig meerdere projecten beheren 
• Zorgen voor volledige naleving van geldende regelgeving en veiligheidsnormen 

Wat breng je mee 

• Bachelor in een wetenschappelijke richting (kennis van chemie vereist) 
• Sterk analytisch vermogen en uitstekende communicatieve vaardigheden 
• Vloeiend Engels (mondeling en schriftelijk); kennis van Nederlands en Frans is een pluspunt 
• Vaardig met MS Word en Excel; ervaring met SAP is een plus 
• Nauwkeurig, zelfstandig en stressbestendig 
• Vermogen om prioriteiten te stellen en eigenaarschap te nemen 
• Brede kennis van chemische eigenschappen (bijv. oplosmiddelen, kunststoffen, corrosieve stoffen, brandbaarheid)
