Summary of the role

As an Accountant, you’ll become a member of our Finance Service Center team located in Warsaw, Poland. You’ll be responsible for performing complex professional accounting work for two foreign entities booking of invoices, preparation of journal entries, Master Data maintenance, payments proposal preparation, bank account reconciliation, posting vendor’s invoices, billing invoices, entering all accounting records into the accounting system, preparation of trial balances and corporate financial reports

Accountant – Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of accounting and financial tasks, including:

• Posting incoming and outgoing invoices
• Creating and managing payment proposals
• Processing payments, clearing vendor and customer accounts, and posting bank statements
• Handling billing-related invoice postings
• Processing of travel expenses and managing travel expense reimbursements
• Recognizing fixed assets and performing depreciation
• Preparing and posting journal entries
• Supporting the preparation of financial statements and other financial reports
• Collaborating with external accounting providers and internal teams, including tax, intercompany, controlling, and local teams
• Performing other accounting duties related to the entities under your responsibility

About You – The Ideal Candidate

To thrive in this role, you should bring the following qualifications and experience:

• Educational background in Accounting, Finance, or a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting department
• Familiarity with Symfonia software is a strong advantage
• Proficiency in English (both written and spoken)
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize effectively
• Ability to multitask and solve problems independently
• Excellent team collaboration and communication skills
