Summary Of The Job:
The Senior Analyst, Data Capabilities within Enterprise Data Management (EDM) will be responsible for delivering modernized data products and data capabilities that drive business value as well as promote adoption to enhance data-driven decisions across the bank. This role bridges business needs and technical solutions, ensuring data capabilities (platforms, products, tools, and processes) align with organizational priorities and enable scalable data-driven decision-making.About This Role:
Data Capabilities:
- Partner with data owners and FNIT partners to deliver modernized data products (e.g., data marts, data acquisition, data modeling, and data fulfillment).
- Translate business and analytical requirements into technical specifications for data platform or capability enhancements.
- Support the assessment of current and emerging Snowflake capabilities (e.g., Data Marketplace, Machine Learning, AI and Semantic layers) for fit with business needs and data strategy.
- Work under the Data Capability Owner to maintain a strategic roadmap for evolving data products, tools, and services in line with business goals and emerging technologies.
Data Education And Adoption:
- Promote the adoption of data products and tools to enhance data activation and drive business value.
- Provide training as needed to educate users about the data, tool availability and best practices.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Collaborate with data users, FNIT and other key stakeholders to ensure alignment of data capabilities with business needs.
- Effectively communicate complex data concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
Key Performance Indicators (Kpis):
- Performance Monitoring: Regularly assess the effectiveness and adoption of data capabilities; drive continuous improvement and efficiency.
- Governance and Compliance: Ensure data capabilities comply with internal data governance standards, privacy regulations, and security protocols.
- Enablement and Adoption: Drive change management, training, and documentation to ensure teams can effectively leverage data capabilities.
- Collaboration: Build and maintain strong partnerships with key stakeholders to meet data needs with measurable business impacts.
- Team Performance: Support a high-performing Data team by developing new skills, maintaining consistent throughput while upholding quality standards, and learning new data capabilities to meet evolving business needs.
The Ideal Candidate for This Role:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in in Information Systems, Data Sciences, Data Analytics, or other related fields
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data capability fields, data analytics, data engineer, data management, or related fields.
- Experience with agile delivery methodologies and tools.
- Experience managing large, cross-functional teams and complex projects.
Skills And Competencies:
- Knowledge in programming languages (e.g., Python, SQL), and visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI, Quick Sight).
- Proven experience working with modern data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, AWS/GCP/Azure data services).
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams having exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Compensation:
Compensation range (base pay): $80,061.00-$132,099.00This role may have a specific starting pay within this range.
Final compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon work experience, education, and/or skill level.
Work Environment:
It is anticipated that the incumbent in this role will work in a hybrid capacity, balancing in-person collaboration three (3) days a week with remote flexibility two (2) days a week. As part of our team, you'll experience the energy and relationship-building of face-to-face collaboration while still enjoying the flexibility of remote workdays.
