Analyze financial reports as well as interpret the current and projected company financial position co-ordinate the budget process and variance reporting by making use of predictive modelling

Prepare reports and financial statements in line with accounting practices

Are You Someone Who Can:

• Deliver accurate budgets and forecasts while optimizing resources within agreed budget.
• Interpret financial data against budgets and forecasts to provide clear, actionable insights.
• Identify and escalate potential risks which may lead to increased costs, while ensuring full governance and audit compliance.
• Plan taxation strategies and meet all statutory and regulatory obligations.
• Manage the fixed asset lifecycle and oversee key operational renewals efficiently.
• Maintenance of expert knowledge on relevant legislative amendments industry best practices and provision of proactive advice and solutions to relevant stakeholders
• Compile financial reports that adhere to financial reporting guidelines as set out by FirstRand.

You will be an ideal candidate if you:

• A minimum qualification: Relevant Financial Management / Accounting Degree or Advanced Diploma
• 3-5 years in a similar environment of which 1-2 years ideally at a junior specialist level
• Banking or Financial Industry experience as an added advantage
