Are You Someone Who Can:
- Deliver accurate budgets and forecasts while optimizing resources within agreed budget.
- Interpret financial data against budgets and forecasts to provide clear, actionable insights.
- Identify and escalate potential risks which may lead to increased costs, while ensuring full governance and audit compliance.
- Plan taxation strategies and meet all statutory and regulatory obligations.
- Manage the fixed asset lifecycle and oversee key operational renewals efficiently.
- Maintenance of expert knowledge on relevant legislative amendments industry best practices and provision of proactive advice and solutions to relevant stakeholders
- Compile financial reports that adhere to financial reporting guidelines as set out by FirstRand.
You will be an ideal candidate if you:
- A minimum qualification: Relevant Financial Management / Accounting Degree or Advanced Diploma
- 3-5 years in a similar environment of which 1-2 years ideally at a junior specialist level
- Banking or Financial Industry experience as an added advantage
