Topcon Healthcare Inc. (THI) is a leading digital health company committed to revolutionizing healthcare through cutting-edge technologies. IDHea (Institute of Digital Health) is looking to advance clinical research by leveraging data-sharing partnerships and real-world data to advance screening and diagnose programs for eyecare and other systemic diseases (Oculomics).   

THI is seeking a passionate and mission-driven Product Director, IDHea Platform. This role is responsible for setting vision, driving execution, and ensuring the success of IDHea platform through hands-on product management, effective leadership and cross-functional collaboration. 

This role will manage upcoming releases of cloud data lake platforms, pipelines, and analytics tools for ocular imaging data to meet market needs and exceed customer expectations.  This role requires a blend of technical knowledge, product management skills, strategic thinking, and excellent communication skills to drive the product lifecycle from conception to launch and beyond.  

Responsibilities:

  • Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with company goals. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineering, data science, marketing, clinical science, and customer support, to ensure successful product development and launch. 
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify market trends, customer needs, and opportunities for innovation. 
  • Gather and prioritize product requirements from stakeholders, customers, and end-users. 
  • Develop detailed product specifications and user stories for the product development team. 
  • Manage the product backlog and sprints ensuring timely delivery of features and enhancements. 
  • Monitor product performance and user feedback to inform future product iterations. 
  • Support Data collection and AI development efforts to maximize product adoption and revenue growth. 
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge. 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., healthcare, computer science); MBA preferred 
  • Minimum 8 – 10+ years of experience as a Product manager, preferably with a strong track record of delivering successful data-driven products.  
  • Deep understanding of healthcare data management and imaging modalities (ophthalmic imaging is preferred) 
  • Knowledge of market research techniques, competitive analysis and product requirements definition. 
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies, product lifecycle management and tools (e.g. Jira or similar), and cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).  
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data insights into actionable strategies. 
  • A passion for leveraging data to improve patient care and drive innovation. 

Base Pay:

Expected Base Pay Range: $180,000 to $230,000 Annualized

The base pay range included is a projected hiring range for a position, level and potential work location(s) listed.  Topcon provides the compensation range that it in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position. This compensation range is based on a full-time schedule.   

Bonus Eligible:

 In addition to base pay, compensation for this position includes eligibility for a 15% annual bonus.
