In the fast-paced world of Consumer, Marketing & Retail Technology, a unique opportunity awaits to lead a pivotal function that drives innovation and strategic alignment across digital clusters. This role is not just about procurement; it’s about shaping the future of how technology integrates with marketing and retail strategies!
Core Responsibilities
- Business partnering with the leading stakeholders in the Consumer, Marketing & Retail Technology digital clusters to align strategies and drive success.
- Building new stakeholder collaboration with the marketing business unit
- Influencing the developing Digital Technology roadmap and Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) to ensure alignment with organisational goals such as in-housing ad-tech from media agencies.
- Managing a team of 5 procurement resources dedicated to Consumer, Marketing & Retail Technology to achieve optimal commercial outcomes for Digital Priorities.
- Overseeing shadow IT triage to align with the priorities set by the ELT.
- Strengthening IT risk assessment and management practices to safeguard the organisation across emerging risk e.g. AI.
- Driving the development and commoditization of digital market intelligence and innovation scouting.
- Guiding the planning and execution of Domain category strategies.
- Providing effective leadership, supportive coaching and capability development to enhance the capabilities of the IT Procurement team.

Indirect Materials and Services Sourcing is a global organisation focused on driving excellence in sourcing, be strong business partners with the internal stakeholders and drive supplier relationship management. The organisation is responsible for Facility, Travel, Professional Services and IT categories procurement globally.
As LEGO group expands globally, the investment in IT is growing as well and the procurement team needs additional resources to manage the growing demand.
Do you have what it takes
- Strong understanding of the Consumer, Marketing & Retail Technology market
- Experience of managing teams and complex stakeholder groups
- Strong influencing and story telling skills, the ability to interact with confidence with individuals at different levels
- Global category management experience - deep insight and understanding of demand and cost driver optimisation
- Have the innate capability to proactively lead and resolve multiple complex problems
- Solid understanding and experience negotiating software, cloud contracts and related commercial/licence models
The position is based in London, UK and relocation support is not offered for this role.
