User Researcher
LEGO Group.com
Office
Copenhagen Østergade, Denmark
Full Time
Job Description
At the LEGO Group, we’re building more than just bricks — we’re building connected, joyful, and imaginative digital experiences that meet the evolving needs of shoppers and LEGO fans around the world.
As a User Researcher, you’ll play a key role in helping us understand the deeper needs, motivations, and behaviours of our consumers — not just how they shop today, but what they’ll need tomorrow. Your work will help us explore and define future opportunities, identify unmet needs, and support the design of innovative
experiences across our digital ecosystem — including LEGO.com, the LEGO Insiders app, our in-store digital touchpoints, loyalty programs, and more.
We're pleased to share that we offer a hybrid working week arrangement called Best of Both, requiring 3 days in the office location in Copenhagen and 2 days from home.
No relocation assistance is offered for this position.
The closing date for all applications will be Wednesday 22nd October 2025.
Internal skyline: Lead Professional
Core Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll work closely with our small but mighty team of user researchers and service designers to:
- Support early-stage, exploratory research that uncovers emerging shopper needs, pain points, and desires — often before there's a defined product.
- Help identify and frame opportunities for innovation by translating human insights into actionable problem spaces and strategic direction.
- Assist with qualitative and quantitative research across a wide range of digital experiences — from ecommerce to loyalty to in-store digital experiences.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, and other partners to ensure the voice of the consumer is embedded in product vision and decision-making.
- Help synthesize insights into compelling narratives that drive alignment and action across teams.
- Support the development of research tools, templates, and insight repositories to scale our impact and knowledge sharing.
Do you have what it takes.
- Some practical exposure to user research methods (this might come from internships, school/university projects, or your first professional role).
- A foundational understanding of human-centred design and UX principles.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills — you're a good listener, clear communicator, and great teammate.
- A proactive, can-do attitude with a desire to grow your skills and make an impact.
- Bonus: experience or interest in working on consumer-facing digital products, especially in ecommerce, loyalty, or retail environments.
