Job Responsibilities:

Mission Of Position:

Operations Analyst NA provides technical assistance to the Group General Manager.  This role advises, supports, assists, and collaborates on special projects which are complex in nature and involve collaboration with multi-faceted teams.  This role acts as a liaison between the Group General Manager, divisional leadership, cross-functional teams, and other stakeholders to help ensure alignment to execute strategies. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform technical and complex administrative duties for the Group General Manager.  Supports preparation and maintenance of reports and presentations.  Initiates and answers correspondence on behalf of the Group General Manager.
  • Plan, organize, support NA Operations’ meetings and/or project meetings; prepare agendas, coordinate reporting and manage calendars to keep operational priorities and/or tasks on track.
  • Support and collaborate to define and execute NA operational strategies.
  • Perform project coordination tasks and root cause analysis on issues; maintain data integrity and communicate findings to stakeholders to align with business goals and optimize efficiency.
  • Monitor plan/project timelines and deliverables, track task completion, and identify potential blockers or issues.
  • Maintain team documentation, update plans, develop and/or update presentations, ensuring information is accurate and organized.
  • Collect and analyze data and information to improve processes, identify trends in the business area, and help develop strategies for data-driven decision-making.
  • Support the development of data-driven initiatives and strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Conduct research on financial and operational data to provide insights for leadership. 
  • Communicate complex findings, challenges, and recommendations to various stakeholders in an understandable way. 
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to optimize operational processes and streamline workflows. 
  • Participate in initiatives to standardize and harmonize master data and activities. 
  • Collect, analyze and analyze data to identify inefficiencies, trends, and bottlenecks.
  • Develop, automate, and improve Excel-based reporting and other data analysis capabilities.
  • Performs other duties as may be assigned at management’s discretion.

Requirements And Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, engineering, business, or related discipline.
  • Five (5) + years’ progressive work experience required in a manufacturing environment.  
  • Previous experiences in Finance, Engineering, Program Management preferred.
  • A solid understanding of automotive industry, manufacturing processes, business objectives, and industry best practices.
  • Excellent computer skills required. Proficient with MS Office suite, web-based and database applications.
  • Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills to present findings and collaborate effectively with diverse teams and manage complex information.
  • Ability to multi-task and deliver results in high-pressure environment.
  • Strong ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights to solve business challenges.
  • Skills to manage initiatives, track deliverables, and ensure projects are completed on time.
  • Ability to work with others in a team environment.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
