The Mortgage Servicing Finance & Reporting Manager is responsible for leading the reporting and analytics functions within the Mortgage Servicing department. This role oversees the development and delivery of operational, financial, and performance reporting across performing and defaulted loan portfolios. The manager will ensure accurate internal reporting, industry benchmarking, and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Supervision
- Set a strong example for direct reports and foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous growth.
- Provide continuous coaching and mentorship, targeting growth and learning opportunities to develop skills of direct reports.
- Align team goals with the company’s mission and objectives, ensuring clarity in priorities and direction.
- Proactively identify potential issues, facilitate open communication, and implement solutions that support team cohesion and overall effectiveness.
Reporting & Analytics
- Develop and maintain comprehensive reporting on performing and defaulted loan portfolios.
- Collaborate with department managers to establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) using MSP data.
- Prepare monthly performance reports and dashboards aligned with strategic goals.
- Oversee critical system updates and programming changes to support evolving business needs
Industry Benchmarking
- Manage and analyze McDash industry data to compare Bell Bank’s servicing portfolio against market benchmarks.
- Oversee variance reporting and MBA national delinquency comparisons.
Financial Oversight
- Lead monthly financial reporting and variance analysis for Mortgage Servicing.
- Manage mortgage servicing rights (MSR) valuation, reconciliation, and accounting activities.
- Support senior leadership with budget forecasting and incentive plan administration.
