Qualifications:

A. Education And Experience

  1. High school diploma or equivalent
  2. Must pass a pre-employment drug test
  3. Must pass a Criminal Background Check
  4. Minimum 2 years previous office administration experience required, including operation of various office machines including copier, printer, and fax
  5. Minimum 2 years payroll database maintenance experience
  6. Advanced data entry skill required
  7. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, with intermediate Word and Excel skills required
  8. Preparing data feeds to, and/or working with, ADP payroll processing experience preferred
  9. Good analytical and mathematical skills required
  10. Intermediate Microsoft Office skill including, word processing, and spreadsheet applications
  11. Advanced skill in processing payroll in multi-state employer environment
  12. ADP payroll processing experience preferred.
  13. Intermediate analytical, organizational, verbal and written skills

  2. Possess the tact to effectively deal with all levels of employees
  3. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of payroll information
  4. Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, including those with conflicting and recurring deadlines
  5. Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with tact and diplomacy
  6. Excellent interpersonal skills required to deal with all levels of employees
  7. Ability to complete assigned duties within deadlines despite interruptions
  8. Advanced organization, time management, workflow prioritization and follow through skills
  9. Adaptability to change in an entrepreneurial environment
  10. Ability to work a flexible schedule, to include evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  11. Must pass drug test.
  12. Satisfactory criminal background check.

C. Performance Responsibilities

  1. Review timesheets submitted by supervisors for consistency and accuracy
  2. Input timesheet data into the payroll system in a timely and accurate manner
  3. Research and resolve payroll discrepancies as reported by assigned location
  4. Update employee payroll database regularly
  5. Assist employees in understanding the payroll and check process
  6. Monitor labor hours for assigned locations on a weekly basis
  7. Maintain good rapport with airport personnel and management staff
  8. Review and maintain a variety of records, employee data, and reports
  9. Ensure local Payroll regulatory compliance
  10. Maintain and project a positive and courteous image; respond to inquiries from airlines, staff and public
  11. Participate in special projects and perform other duties as needed
