Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the end-to-end accounts payable process (invoice verification, matching, posting, and payments) in SAP.
• Review suppliers’ invoices, supporting documents, and purchase orders for accuracy and proper authorization.
• Monitor aging of payables, prepare payment proposals, and ensure timely settlement to maintain good supplier relationships.
• Reconcile vendor statements, investigate discrepancies, and resolve issues with procurement, warehouse, and suppliers.
• Prepare monthly AP schedules, accruals, and reports for management and auditors.
• Ensure compliance with Egyptian VAT, withholding tax, and other applicable regulations.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including accrual entries and reporting.
• Coordinate with external and internal auditors and provide necessary documentation.
• Participate in continuous improvement of AP procedures and SAP enhancements.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
• 5–7 years of progressive experience in Accounts Payable (preferably in pharmaceutical, FMCG, or manufacturing sectors).
• Hands-on experience with SAP (FI module) – essential and if ( MM module ) is preferable.
• Good knowledge of Egyptian tax laws (VAT, WHT, stamp duty) and accounting standards.
• Experience with supplier reconciliations, payment runs, and month-end closing.
