Test Lead

We’re looking for a hands-on Test Lead to design, build, and lead our new testing function from the ground up. Reporting to the National Manager, Business Improvement and Project Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role a significant digital transformation program. This is your opportunity to shape how testing is done across the business and ensure the quality and reliability of a platform that underpins our future growth.

What You’Ll Do

In this key leadership role, you will:

• Design and deliver the end-to-end test strategy  — covering integration, end-to-end, regression, and UAT.
• Build and lead a new team of three testers and a Test Co-ordinator, providing coaching, leadership, and technical direction.
• Collaborate closely with Business Analysts, Solution Architects, and Developers to ensure testing aligns with business outcomes.
• Own the test lifecycle – from authoring and reviewing test cases to defect triage, resolution, and reporting.
• Drive automation and efficiency by configuring and managing test tools (Tosca experience highly regarded).
• Lead UAT planning and execution with business stakeholders.
• Continuously refine our testing processes, governance, and reporting frameworks.

About You

You’re a seasoned Test Lead or Senior Tester who thrives in complex transformation environments. You know how to balance hands-on testing with longer-term thinking, and you’re excited by the challenge of building something new. 

Here’S What You’Ll Bring:

• Solid experience in software testing, ideally across large-scale system replacement or transformation projects.
• Strong hands-on skills in integration, regression, and UAT testing.
• Practical experience in test design, execution, defect management, and reporting.
• Familiarity with test automation tools (Tosca experience highly regarded, but not essential).
• A desire to mentor and guide others and grow into a leadership role.
• A passion for continuous improvement, technology, and delivering quality outcomes.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate confidently with stakeholders across the business.
• A solutions-focused, curious, and adaptable mindset — eager to learn, contribute, and make a tangible impact.
