About the Role…This is your chance to build your category expertise, strengthen stakeholder management skills, and gain exposure across the full product lifecycle—from sourcing to store.

In This Role, You’Ll:

• Support category operations – help execute the annual category strategy, manage line planning, and contribute to pricing and promotions aligned to key events and product seasonality.
• Drive commercial outcomes – assist with delivering sales, profit, and trade partner support to budget, optimising promotional activities across all channels.
• Manage the range – support new product introductions, lifecycle management, packaging and pricing updates, and clearance strategies to maximise profitability.
• Ensure compliance & governance – maintain accurate reporting, support forecasting adjustments, and ensure all category products meet compliance and sustainability standards.
• Build strong relationships – partner with internal teams and external trade partners, negotiate effectively, and champion the category across the organisation.

What You’Ll Bring

• Retail Buying Expertise – Demonstrated experience in a similar role
• Operational Know-How – Strong understanding of inventory, product lifecycle, and category performance.
• Global Trade Exposure – Experience working with international/domestic trade partners; China sourcing/manufacturing highly regarded.
• Analytical Edge – Strong Excel and data analysis skills with the ability to translate insights into action.
• Influential Collaborator – Proven ability to influence and work across diverse stakeholders.
• Educational Foundation – Qualification in Business and/or Merchandising
