The Opportunity


We’re hiring our first Technical Recruiter to build the foundation of Arlo’s technical recruiting function. You’ll own the strategy and execution to attract top engineering, data, and product talent who will shape the future of Arlo’s platform and technology.This is a high-impact role where you’ll:
  • Own full-cycle recruiting for technical roles — from sourcing to close.
  • Partner directly with our founders and engineering leadership to define hiring needs and build world-class teams.
  • Develop scalable recruiting processes, tools, and pipelines to support rapid growth.
  • Build and amplify Arlo’s employer brand in the tech ecosystem.

What You’Ll Do


1. Full-Cycle Technical Recruiting
  • Source, engage, interview, and close exceptional engineers, data scientists, and product talent.
  • Manage the candidate experience end-to-end — ensuring every touchpoint reflects Arlo’s culture and mission.
2. Pipeline Development & Sourcing Strategy
  • Build diverse, high-quality talent pipelines through creative sourcing, referrals, communities, and events.
  • Experiment with outreach sequences, campaigns, and partnerships to attract top-of-market talent.
3. Process & Systems
  • Stand up recruiting infrastructure (ATS, interview loops, scorecards, analytics dashboards).
  • Maintain data accuracy and reporting to measure funnel health and hiring velocity.
4. Employer Branding
  • Craft engaging job posts, maintain our careers page, and drive technical content for recruiting (LinkedIn posts, engineering blogs, event presence).
  • Represent Arlo at industry events, hackathons, and recruiting fairs.
5. Partnering with Leadership
  • Work directly with the founders and engineering leaders to align hiring strategy with company goals.
  • Provide market insights, salary benchmarks, and sourcing analytics to guide decisions.

What We’Re Looking For


  • 3–6 years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience (agency + in-house preferred).
  • Proven track record filling software engineering, data, or technical product roles quickly and with quality.
  • Experience building recruiting infrastructure (ATS setup, interview loops, candidate scoring).
  • Comfortable with outbound sourcing — Boolean, email campaigns, communities, and creative outreach.
  • Excellent communicator who can authentically sell Arlo’s mission and opportunity.
  • Scrappy, resourceful, and data-driven — thrives in ambiguity and fast-paced environments.

Bonus Points:
  • Experience hiring for startups in AI, health tech, or fintech.
  • Exposure to employer branding, recruiting content, or events.
  • Strong network in the engineering or product community.

Compensation:
  • $110,000–$150,000 base
  • 10–20% performance bonus
  • Equity in a fast-scaling company
