Temp DocStar Clerk

The Salvation Army Divisional Headquarters located in St. Louis, MO, is looking for a Temp DocStar Clerk. This position is responsible for the Perform scanning and retrieval of Corps Accounting Center documents into the DOCSTAR system and encoding the documents for future reference. Retain and file scanned documents as needed for subsequent audit and review purposes.

This is a Full-time temporary position, up to 40 hours per week with starting pay of $18.00 per hour.

Time frame to work: 10/13/2025- 01/13/2026

Essential Functions

• Sort material and scan into DOCSTAR system as instructed.
• Enter each batch by location (Corps Accounting Center).
• Retrieve documents as instructed.
• Accurately file and maintain scanned information for internal and independent audit review.
• Properly dispose of or destroy documents in accordance with Territorial Retention Policy
• after audits are completed.
• Maintain data confidentiality.
• Maintain positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that fosters good relationships with clients, co-workers and supervisors. This includes, but is not limited to, such actions as: resolution of conflicts in a professional manner; courteous treatment of staff, visitors and clients; respect of others’ property and person; and professional and appropriate communication to and about clients, co-workers and supervisors.

Education And Experience

High school diploma or equivalent and one year of related work experience.

Combination of training and experience will be considered. Requires reasonable computer skills with knowledge and experience working in software applications. Must have good written and verbal communication skills and demonstrate good time management skills, including the ability to work independently. Details and attention to details are required.

Physical and Work Environment Requirements

Must be capable of performing the above essential duties in an office environment to include using a computer, operating a scanning device, etc. Most work will be indoors in a temperature-controlled environment.
