Title: Data Entry Clerk
Reports To: Dining Facility Manager / Supervisor / Project Manager / Shift Lead
Summary:
Under the direct management of the Dining Facility Manager and Asst. Dining Facility Manager. The data clerk will operate on a computer to perform all requirements for the Army Food Management Information System (AFMIS). The clerk will assist in a variety of administrative matters to include maintaining financial and other records both manually and electronically, verifying reports for accuracy and completeness.
Duties And Responsibilities:
- Is the lead for 2 -- 4 cashier / headcount employees.
- Operates the dining facility AFMIS system to create and adjust shopping lists and production schedules, makes requests against the inventory, facilitates returns to the inventory, provides inventory accountability, headcount entries; and inquire against a variety of files, etc.
- Establishes sequence of work accomplishments within established priorities.
- Performs other clerical duties as required; Answers telephones, posts publications, files according to IAW ARIMS-25-400-2 and operates standard office machines such as calculator, scanner, fax and copy machines.
- Should be familiar with the duties of Cashier/Headcount and in emergencies fulfill these requirements.
- Maintains cleanliness of all areas of responsibility.
- Advises Dining Facility Manager on progress of duties and/or problem areas.
- Performs other duties as required.
- Must be able to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC)
- May assist with payroll.
Qualifications:
- Can read, write and comprehend written instructional documents, perform common mathematics tasks and communicate effectively.
- One year of supervisory experience
Additional Responsibilities:
- Adhere to the RHFS rules and regulations set forth in the employee handbook.
- Comply with all HACCP standards.
