About The Role
As a Program Specialist, you will play a vital role in coordinating and overseeing high-quality care and services for individuals with IDD. Reporting to the Director of Programs, you will manage a caseload, lead team meetings, and ensure compliance with all regulatory and organizational standards. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of others while growing your career in human services.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee individualized care plans and services
- Facilitate team meetings and collaborate with families and stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with healthcare, medication, and safety protocols
- Support Medicaid renewals, assessments, and ISP development
- Analyze service data and implement improvements
- Conduct audits and ensure licensing compliance
- Serve as a liaison between internal teams, families, and external partners
- Collaborate with behavior specialists and nursing staff to support holistic care

QualificationsThe ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- A master’s degree or above from an accredited college or university and 1 year of work experience working directly with individuals with an intellectual disability or autism.
- A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and 2 years of work experience working directly with individuals with an intellectual disability or autism.
- An associate’s degree or 60 credit hours from an accredited college or university and 4 years of work experience working directly with individuals with an intellectual disability or autism.
- 1-3 total Supervisory/Managerial experience preferred
- NADD Certification requires within 1 year of hire
- Certified Technology Assessor Preferred
- HRST Reviewer Preferred
