Lycopodium Minerals Namibia is seeking a highly experienced Concrete Supervisor with a strong EPCM project background in SMP (Structural, Mechanical, and Piping) construction across mineral processing plants. to join our dynamic, growing team. Reporting to the Construction Manager the Concrete Supervisor will be responsible for providing Concrete Supervisor services to the project, as part of the construction team. The Concrete Supervisor shall provide sound technical advice in the resolutions of problems associated with constructability or design issues.

This is a key leadership role for someone with a proven record managing complex site-based projects.

The tasks you'll perform

• Oversee concrete works including structural pours, formwork precision, bolt alignment, and precast installations.
• Supervise bulk earthworks, stormwater drainage, plant access roads, and civil infrastructure.
• Coordinate installation of underground services such as fire water, raw water, potable water, and sewage reticulation.
• Manage and monitor survey activities, verifying quantities, reviewing contractor claims, and supporting accurate reporting.
• Support the construction of Tailings Storage Facilities, stormwater management systems, and raw water ponds.
• Conduct quality inspections and resolve on-site issues to maintain compliance with design and contractual requirements.
• Prepare and maintain documentation for daily site progress, quality control, and monthly reporting.
• Collaborate with design engineers on updating and adjusting drawings for roads, earthworks, and concrete structures.

Qualification And Experience:

• Master’s Degree in Survey Engineering and Bachelor’s Degree in Physics.
• 8+ years’ experience in site supervision, survey management, civil construction, and concrete works.
• Experience on large-scale mining and infrastructure projects, including process plants, TSFs, and EPCM projects.

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities:

• Strong technical expertise in concrete supervision, civil works, survey data analysis, and project design.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Covadis, Global Mapper, Navisworks, and MS Excel.
• Ability to interpret and verify complex civil, concrete, and mechanical drawings.
• Skilled in quantity surveying, payment claims, and contractor performance review.
• Strong organisational and leadership skills with proven ability to manage teams and subcontractors.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to dynamic site conditions.
• Knowledge of Lycopodium’s HSE procedures and commitment to safe site practices.
