The IT SAP SD / LE Senior Functional Consultant is to act as the IT solution lead and/or (sub) project manager in IT initiatives in SAP SD (Sales and Distribution) and SAP LE (Logistics Execution). This position is in Barcelona, Spain and is a hybrid role (3 days in office, 2 days remote) or Berlin/ Hannover in Germany.

Essential Job Functions:

• Analyze and prioritize business requirements, advise internal stakeholders in terms of IT solutions, approve concepts and specifications, organize, and facilitate workshops, perform customizing of systems, work out test plans, contribute to the creation of test scripts, test execution and training documentation, lead trainings and data migration activities, control global process and system governance.
• Manage projects, gather information for project requests, provide cost estimates, detail functional specifications, implement changes to processes via customizing, participate in the testing activities, create cutover plans, and provide support during the hyper care phase.
• Manage maintenance activities, liaise with external consultants / providers, ensure implementation, testing and transfer of changes and applications into the production systems, delegate common incidents and problems to the IT support organization, provide third level support for complex incidents, contribute to the resolution of critical / urgent incidents, organize the resolution of problems with the necessary stakeholders.
• Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of Arxada applications and processes, be familiar with newest generation of IT solutions and advise internal partners on innovative IT technologies, drive digitalization and automation topics.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in science or higher, Information Security, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Chemistry, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Languages: English (business fluent), German (highly desired).
• Experience: 5-10 plus years in the IT related field.
• Required: SAP SD (Sales & Distribution), SAP LE (Logistics Execution).
• Preferred: SAP GTS (Global Trade Services), SF (Salesforce), MM (Material Maintenance), FI (Finance), CO (Controlling).
