Your Role
Step into an exciting leadership role at Dulux Retail as the State Sales Manager VIC/TAS! In this position, you'll lead a dynamic team to drive strategic growth and operational excellence.
Reporting directly to the National Sales Manager, you'll have the opportunity to shape, lead and develop a team of 14 Sales professionals, focusing on building their capability to engage and create value for our customers in pursuit of category and share growth as well as developing and implementing strategies to achieve Retail business imperatives and sales objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, develop, and coach their team to deliver exceptional customer service, whilst engaging and influencing key network stakeholders
- Develop and refresh the annual State Growth Plan aligned with Dulux Retail business goals, coordinate quarterly Sales Planner execution, and organize Retail Sales Meetings. Sales and Financial Management
- Achieve primary profit growth targets and other key financial imperatives thorough financial planning, analysis, and careful fixed cost management.
- Champion a safety-first culture by communicating expectations and managing safety outcomes across the region.
- Ensure compliance with store standards, policies, and inventory requirements.

Skills & Experience
- Degree qualified (desirable) and strong sales and/or marketing experience
- Strong leadership experience with a track record of developing and coaching high-performing teams.
- Demonstrated ability to execute sales strategies, track performance, and make necessary adjustments to optimise results
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence key stakeholders
- A proactive and strategic mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and business growth.
- Collaborative leadership style who enjoys working with people to help solve problems, gaining feedback for optimal outcomes, while driving individual results and managing stakeholder engagement
- Industry Knowledge is advantageous, yet not essential.
