Account Executive – Myriad Women’s Health - Macon, GA. This is a field-based/customer-facing role. Candidate must live in or near Macon, GA.
Myriad Women’s Health is seeking a passionate and driven Account Executive (AE) to join our team and help improve patient lives through precision medicine. In this role, you will promote and sell our portfolio of molecular genetic tests to obstetricians, gynecologists, and other healthcare providers within your assigned territory. You’ll also serve as a trusted resource, educating providers on Myriad’s science, research, and the impact of precision medicine on personalized care.
Our tests empower clinicians to make informed medical management decisions and enhance patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Educate physicians on the clinical value and interpretation of molecular diagnostic tests
- Conduct in-service training for office staff
- Collaborate with local phlebotomy providers to streamline specimen collection
- Organize and deliver local educational talks and peer-to-peer programs
- Coordinate with relevant local health plans to support practice needs
- Manage territory expenses and meet administrative requirements
- Use Territory Planning Tools to strategize account targeting and call frequency
- Maintain accurate records in Salesforce (CRM), including call notes, messaging, and strategic insights
- Attend regional meetings and Women’s Health conferences as scheduled
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, ideally in a related field
- 3–5 years of healthcare sales experience preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proven track record of top-tier sales performance
- Demonstrated ability to take on increasing responsibility and drive growth
- Deep understanding of relevant disease states and product knowledge
- Willingness to travel and stay overnight as needed
- Skilled in consultative selling and impactful presentations
- Effective problem-solving and obstacle management
- Solid understanding of coverage and reimbursement dynamics
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient privacy standards
- High ethical standards aligned with Myriad’s mission and values
- Professional discretion in handling sensitive patient and provider information
- Integrity and accountability in all aspects of work
- Self-motivated, flexible, and innovative mindset
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and CRM systems (preferably Salesforce)
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record per Myriad’s policy
Physical Requirements
Lifting Requirements – sedentary to light work or exerting 10 to 20 pounds of force frequently. Physical Requirements – stationary positioning, moving, operating, ascending/descending, communicating, and observing. Use of equipment and tools necessary to perform essential job functions. OSHA category III – normal routine involves no exposure to blood, body fluid, or tissue and as part of the employment, will not be called upon to perform or assist in emergency care or first aid.
