Cloud Network Engineer, Consultant

Your Role

The Cloud Networking team is responsible for architecting, implementing and managing the cloud networking infrastructure. The Cloud Engineer, Consultant will report to the Manager, Developer Experience. In this role you will be responsible to implement the best practices of Cloud Networking as well as manage the cloud networking infrastructure.

Your Work
In this role, you will:

• Architect and deploy secure, scalable, and highly available network solutions across Azure, AWS, and GCP
• Configure and manage virtual networks, subnets, and network security groups
• Implement and maintain connectivity solutions such as VPNs, ExpressRoute, and other hybrid networking technologies
• Implement and maintain multi-cloud connectivity solutions using Aviatrix and Equinix
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure reliability and efficiency
• Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to support seamless application deployment and integration
• Ensure adherence to security policies and industry best practices
• Automate network operations using scripting and infrastructure-as-code tools
• Stay current with emerging cloud networking technologies, especially within Azure

Your Knowledge and Experience

• Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in cloud networking across multiple platforms
• Deep expertise in multi-cloud (especially Azure) networking services and architecture
• Experience working in DevOps environments with familiarity in GitOps practices
• At least 3 years of experience in scripting/programming (e.g., Python) and infrastructure automation using tools like Ansible
• Strong understanding of network protocols, routing, switching, and security
• Proficiency in VPN technologies, firewalls, and network performance monitoring
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, ARM templates, or similar
• Familiarity with using AI for Cloud Infrastructure
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills. 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Network Engineer Associate, Azure Solutions Architect).
• Experience with hybrid and multi-cloud networking environments.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.
