About The Job

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Manager Finance to join Jumeirah Restaurants. The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:

• Verify daily transactions for completeness and accuracy before submitting for Finance Manager approval.
• Assist in preparing and analysing monthly financial reports, ensuring adherence to reporting deadlines.
• Maintain and enforce standard operating procedures, establishing clear guidelines for monthly tasks.
• Supervise and support finance team members, ensuring efficient task distribution and adherence to procedures.
• Organize regular training sessions to improve team competence and monitor work for accuracy and quality.
• Deputize for the Finance Manager when required and manage office issues within delegated authority

About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Mathematics, or Economics
• Experience in Finance within hospitality or customer service-related industry (Hotel operation background highly regarded). 
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data and support business decision-making.
• Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to support and guide the finance team while collaborating effectively with other departments.
