About The Job
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Manager Finance to join Jumeirah Restaurants. The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:
- Verify daily transactions for completeness and accuracy before submitting for Finance Manager approval.
- Assist in preparing and analysing monthly financial reports, ensuring adherence to reporting deadlines.
- Maintain and enforce standard operating procedures, establishing clear guidelines for monthly tasks.
- Supervise and support finance team members, ensuring efficient task distribution and adherence to procedures.
- Organize regular training sessions to improve team competence and monitor work for accuracy and quality.
- Deputize for the Finance Manager when required and manage office issues within delegated authority
About You
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Mathematics, or Economics
- Experience in Finance within hospitality or customer service-related industry (Hotel operation background highly regarded).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data and support business decision-making.
- Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to support and guide the finance team while collaborating effectively with other departments.
