Major Account Manager – Public Sector (Central Government & Health)

We are currently seeking a dynamic Major Account Manager to drive strategic growth within central government, with a particular focus on the health sector. This role will be instrumental in supporting Fortinet’s expansion across public healthcare institutions, ministries, and affiliated agencies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow strategic relationships within central government and public health institutions
  • Develop and execute account plans focused on enterprise-wide deployments of Fortinet’s cybersecurity solutions
  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key stakeholders and influencers
  • Coordinate internal teams to deliver winning proposals, RFI/RFP responses, and statements of work
  • Negotiate business terms to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes and long-term partnerships
  • Drive both “sell to” and “sell through” opportunities, managing the full sales cycle to closure
  • Achieve quarterly sales targets and maintain accurate pipeline forecasting
  • Promote Fortinet’s value in securing national healthcare infrastructure and sensitive public data

What We’Re Looking For:

  • Proven experience selling cybersecurity or networking solutions to public sector clients
  • Strong understanding of the healthcare ecosystem and its regulatory environment
  • Demonstrated success in managing complex sales cycles and closing large deals
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strategic mindset with strong account planning and relationship-building capabilities
  • Minimum 10 years in sales, including 5 years in cybersecurity
  • Based in France, with flexibility to travel as needed
