Roles & Responsibilities
We are recruiting for an Assistant Manager in the Audit team. Working as an Assistant Manager in this team, your responsibilities will include:
•Ability to in-charge audit engagements and work with UK stakeholders •Ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals (internal or external) at different levels of seniority. •Highly motivated self-starter with ability to multitask and complete assignments within time constraints and deadlines •Ability to train, coach and mentor the team •Excellent organisational and project management skills •Ability to follow instructions clearly and demonstrate attention to detail •Strong IT literacy, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word. •Able to work in fast moving and demanding environment •Monitors and upholds high quality of service to clients (internal and external).Ability to work both as a team player and team leader
Mandatory technical & functional skills
•Minimum of 4-5 years of post-qualification experience in pension scheme audits, preferably in a Big 4 consulting firm •Experience of providing actuarial services to UK defined benefit pension schemes is preferred, for example around IAS19 financial reporting, cash funding, de-risking and/or member benefit calculations. •Audit experience not essential, training will be provided. •Personal drive and positive work ethic to deliver results within tight deadlines and in demanding situations without compromising on quality, and ethical standards and values •Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Educational Qualifications
•Qualified CA or ACCAWork Experience
