Role Overview
We are seeking a strategic and client-focused Associate Partner to lead sales and solution support for enterprise application services in the Japanese market. This role demands deep expertise in SAP and complementary platforms such as Oracle, Workday, and ServiceNow, along with strong leadership and client engagement capabilities. The ideal candidate will be fluent in Japanese and possess a proven track record of driving business growth, shaping solutions, and building trusted client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead sales and solutioning efforts for SAP and other enterprise platforms (Oracle, Workday, ServiceNow) in the Japanese market.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their business needs and translating them into tailored digital transformation strategies.
- Drive pipeline generation, deal shaping, and proposal development in collaboration with global and regional teams.
- Provide thought leadership on SAP innovations including RISE with SAP, GROW with SAP, SAP BTP, and industry cloud solutions.
- Guide multi-disciplinary solution teams across functional, technical, and industry domains.
- Build and maintain C-level relationships with Japanese clients, ensuring long-term strategic engagement as well as with Senior Partners in the Japan Member firm.
- Collaborate with delivery leadership to ensure successful project execution, quality assurance, and client satisfaction.
- Represent the firm in industry forums, client workshops, and executive briefings.
- Mentor and develop next-generation leaders within the Japan delivery and consulting teams.
Required Skills & Experience
- 15+ years of experience in enterprise applications consulting, with a strong focus on SAP S/4HANA and exposure to Oracle, Workday, and ServiceNow.
- Proven track record in sales leadership, solution architecture, and client delivery.
- Fluent in Japanese (spoken and written); business-level proficiency is mandatory.
- Deep understanding of Japanese business culture, regulatory environment, and market dynamics.
- Strong knowledge of cloud deployment models, digital transformation frameworks, and industry-specific SAP solutions.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- SAP S/4HANA Certification or equivalent credentials in Oracle/Workday/ServiceNow.
- Experience in Life Sciences, Automotive, Consumer Products, or Financial Services industries.
- Exposure to multi-country rollouts, global delivery models, and Japanese localization requirements.
Educational Background
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
