SAP VC Developer

Scope of Role 
 
Regal Rexnord’s Digital Solutions team is seeking a Variant Configuration (VC)  Developer to strengthen our enterprise applications team. This role is ideal for an early to mid career professional with deep technical expertise in SAP architecture, and solution design — as well as leadership experience in guiding junior team members and influencing strategic direction. 
The role is also expected to learn and support Logik.ai tool, which is a headless variant configuration tool powering Omni-channel configurator experiences across internal tools like Salesforce and website.  
 
You will be responsible for leading the development and governance of advanced VC models that support global configurable product offerings. As a key technical authority, you collaborate across product, engineering, and IT teams to ensure that our SAP VC solutions are scalable, efficient, and aligned with evolving business goals. 
 
You will work closely with Logik.ai admin team to help with the migration of VC models from ERP to Logik.ai 
 
Key Responsibilities 
 

• Designing and maintaining SAP VC Models across various business units in Europe and North America. Should have hands-on experience in the creation/modification/maintenance of following VC objects. 

• Characteristics

• Class 300/200/201

• Variant Tables

• Object dependencies (Preconditions, Selection Conditions, Procedures) 

• Dependency Nets

• Configuration Profiles with Interface design 

• Material Masters,

• Super Bills of material,  

• Super Routings,

• Variant Conditions for Pricing within the SAP system for the sale and production of products. 
• Perform functional and integration testing of VC with other SAP models. 
• Should be able to debug issues appearing in day-to-day VC functioning. 
• Learn Logik.ai tool for which training resources will be shared with the candidate 
• Work as a peer with Digital Solutions team members in highlighting VC model design and best practices in integrating Salesforce and ERP 
• Resolve Order issues associated with VC models and Logik Blueprints 
• Support API integrations and assist in Logik.ai migration efforts 
• Establish and enforce modeling standards, documentation protocols, and QA processes 
• Monitor and adopt emerging SAP VC innovations and best practices to enhance internal capabilities 

Qualifications  Technical Skills Required:

• 2–4 years of hands-on experience in SAP Variant Configuration (VC) design, and architecture 
• Expertise in SAP VC including object dependencies (procedures, constraints, preconditions, selection conditions), class structures, and advanced configuration techniques 
• Experience in SAP S/4HANA or ECC environments, with solid understanding of system architecture 
• Familiarity with API integration concepts. 
• Eager to learn new configurator tool Logik.ai  
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience); advanced degree preferred 
• Strong Excel skills and desire to learn and incorporate AI workflows 

Preferred (Not Required):

• Experience with SAP IPC or AVC 
• Familiarity with SAP Product Configuration Lifecycle Management (PCLM) 
• Familiarity with SFDC (ideally with Sales Cloud or CPQ) or Logik.ai tool 
• Exposure to Agile methodologies and DevOps workflows 
• SAP certification in Variant Configuration or related areas
