Deputy General Manager - Health

Develop and implement comprehensive health and safety programs to ensure a safe working environment for all employees

Provide medical guidance and support to management and employees on health-related issues

Lead and manage the medical team, including physicians, nurses, and support staff

Collaborate with external healthcare providers and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with medical standards and regulations

Oversee occupational health programs, including pre-employment medical assessments and ongoing health monitoring

Conduct regular health and safety audits to identify and address potential risks and hazards in the workplace

Participate in incident investigations and provide medical expertise in emergency response situations

Develop and deliver training programs on medical best practices and emergency response protocols

Advise senior management on healthcare policies, procedures, and emerging medical trends

Stay informed about industry advancements and best practices in occupational health and safety

Education Qualification

• MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery)
• AFIH (Associate Fellow of Industrial Health)

Certification Required

• Valid medical license and registration
• Certification in occupational health and safety (e.g., Certified Occupational Health Nurse, Certified Safety Professional)

Experience

• 12-20 years of experience in the Smelter Copper Manufacturing industry
• Demonstrated leadership experience in a medical or healthcare setting
• Proven track record of implementing health and safety programs
