Job Purpose:
The Industrial Hygienist plays a critical role in ensuring the health and safety of the workplace. This position involves comprehensive evaluation of workplace environments, assessment of exposure risks, and the development and implementation of strategies to mitigate these risks. The ideal candidate will champion workplace health initiatives, ensuring compliance with both regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Industrial Hygiene In-charge – Copper
Planning And Execution:
- Collaborate with production teams to integrate industrial hygiene principles into production planning and execution.
- Ensure that all production processes are designed and operated with optimal health and safety standards.
Process Optimization And Continuous Improvement:
- Continually assess and optimize workplace processes to enhance safety and reduce health risks.
- Implement best practices and innovative solutions to improve the overall workplace environment and minimize exposure to hazardous conditions.
Quality Assurance And Control:
- Develop and maintain rigorous quality assurance protocols to ensure all health and safety measures meet or exceed regulatory requirements.
- Monitor the effectiveness of implemented safety measures and make adjustments based on performance data.
Equipment Monitoring And Troubleshooting:
- Oversee the regular inspection and maintenance of monitoring equipment used for assessing workplace health hazards such as air quality and noise levels.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to industrial hygiene equipment to ensure continuous monitoring and compliance.
Hse And Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure strict adherence to all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and ensure all practices are compliant with the latest standards.
Digitisation And Tech Adoption:
- Lead the adoption of digital tools and technologies that enhance the efficiency and accuracy of industrial hygiene monitoring and reporting.
- Explore and integrate new technologies that could offer innovative ways to improve workplace health and safety.

Education Qualification:
Bachelor's degree (from recognized institutes) in Chemical / Occupational Health, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.
Work Experience (Range Of Years):
Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in industrial hygiene or occupational health and safety.
Certifications:
Certification as a IcertOH / Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH)
