Job Purpose: The Business Development Executive will conduct comprehensive market research on the Indian coal, power, and other related industries, analyzing market dynamics and government policies. The role involves preparing detailed reports, maintaining databases, and developing strategic notes to support the Business Development team and AEL management, facilitating informed decision-making and strategic planning.
Bidding, Tendering and BH Office Executive – Iron Ore / Beach Sand Mining
Market Research And Analysis:
Conduct in-depth research and analysis on market developments and government policies in the mining industry, focusing on opportunities for the Mine Developer Cum Operator (MDO) business.
Daily tracking tender and identify opportunities in Iron Ore Mining, Mining Lease, Composite License, Mine Exploration, Mine planning and other mining consultancy activities in India.
Share the tenders with all the relevant stakeholders and coordinate with different departments for timely evaluation of business opportunities.
Analyze tender, prepare synopsis and highlight key advantages and risks related to projects
Analyze the Indian Iron Ore / Beach Sand Mining market and related policies from the Ministry, preparing notes and reports based on business requirements.
Perform custom research on other mining and relevant industries as per management directives, compiling detailed notes and analyses.
Database Management And Reporting:
Prepare, maintain, and periodically update comprehensive databases on Indian Iron Ore blocks to keep the BD team and management well-informed.
Track and analyze tenders floated by various Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) related to MDO and operations, preparing eligibility lists based on qualification requirements (QR).
Circulate daily news articles on Iron Ore and BSM mining market developments and Steel market news relevant to the Iron Ore and BSM mining industry among the BD team.
Competitor And Strategic Analysis:
Maintain and update information on the technical and financial capabilities of MDO business competitors, identifying qualifying parties as per QR published by various MDO tenders.
Comprehensive Business Case preparation that includes Domestic and Global demand supply, Key competitors, Scope of project, Key Financial KPIs
Cost benefit analysis model for different business opportunities.
Preparation and analyze financial model for different projects in Mining and related projects as per Management requirements.
Research, analyze, and prepare presentations on strategic planning for the next five years in the mining business, including the shortlisting of Iron Ore MDO / Exploration blocks, MDO tender auction timelines, production phasing, and SWOT analysis of existing business operations.
Business Head Office Activities:
Conduct weekly and monthly review meetings of different departments, projects etc. and prepare updates and track action items by different stakeholders.
Coordinate with different stakeholders for preparation of Monthly information sheet, CEO review presentation for Business.
Conduct document review to ensure alignment with business objectives prior to final approval from Business Head.
Ensure that all databases, reports, and presentations are updated regularly and accessible to relevant stakeholders within the organization.
Preparation 5 year (FY 25-30) Strategic Roadmap for Iron Ore/ Beach Sand Mining Business by incorporating realistic data from business-as-usual operations and strategic initiatives and coordinated with Finance department for financial planning and HR team for manpower planning for the projects.
