Associate Manager - Colliery Engineer (Mechanical)

Lead and manage mechanical engineering activities at the coal mine, ensuring optimal performance and reliability of equipment.

Develop and implement maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and maximize operational efficiency.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address mechanical issues proactively.

Conduct regular inspections and audits to assess the condition of mechanical assets and recommend improvements.

Participate in budget planning and cost control initiatives related to mechanical engineering operations.

Stay updated on industry trends and technologies to drive continuous improvement in mechanical processes.

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred).

Professional Engineer (PE) license.

Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) certification.

Minimum 8 years of experience in mechanical engineering within the coal mining industry.

Demonstrated track record of success in managing mechanical operations and driving process improvements.

Experience in implementing maintenance programs and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
