Assistant Manager (Electrical Supervisor)

Supervise and lead a team of electricians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems at the coal mine.

Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures to create a safe working environment.

Plan and schedule electrical maintenance activities to minimize downtime and optimize productivity.

Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.

Coordinate with other departments to support operational requirements and project timelines.

Maintain accurate records of electrical maintenance activities and equipment performance.

Provide training and mentorship to junior electricians to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Collaborate with the engineering team to implement improvements and upgrades to electrical systems.

Participate in regular safety meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of safety practices.

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

Valid Electrical Supervisor license or certification.

Health and Safety certification is a plus.

Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical supervision within the coal mining industry.
