Petrochemicals: Adani Group is making significant strides in the petrochemical landscape with the establishment of its inaugural petrochemical complex, named Green PVC. This initiative aligns with our broader strategy in the petrochemicals, oil & gas, and downstream sectors.The Petrochemicals Business Unit is spearheading the Green PVC project, which entails a substantial investment of INR 26,000 crore. This investment is focused on integrating the acetylene route to facilitate sustainable polyvinyl chloride (PVC) manufacturing. Currently in the execution phase, the project is on track to deliver its first product by June 2026.
Job Purpose: The Project Management Team Member assists in the project lifecycle within a specific area or scope, supporting alignment with goals, schedules, budgets, and resources under the guidance of the Project Management Lead. This role facilitates team coordination, supports the review and validation of engineering documents, gathers data for technical bid evaluations, and monitors progress while identifying basic risks. The Team Member utilizes project management tools, follows cost control procedures, performs detailed analyses of change requests, and prepares project documentation. Additionally, this role supports commissioning and handover processes, ensures compliance with safety and industry standards, liaises with stakeholders, and communicates project status and issues effectively.
Project Management Team Member-PETCHEM
Project Management & Oversight:
Support alignment with project goals, schedules, budgets, and resources by assisting in the project lifecycle within a specific area or scope under the Project Management Lead's guidance.
Assist in resolving design challenges by facilitating coordination among team members on engineering package activities, leveraging basic knowledge of engineering design principles.
Ensure compliance with standards and regulations by coordinating with stakeholders for the proper review and validation of Material Data Sheets, designs, and documents within respective teams.
Aid in selecting cost-effective contractors and suppliers by gathering data to support technical bid evaluations.
Support the achievement of project milestones by monitoring progress, identifying basic risks, and implementing strategies, while keeping planning documents updated to reflect project goals.
Project Monitoring And Reporting:
Track resources and project progress by utilizing project management tools effectively.
Ensure adherence to cost control procedures by following established guidelines with supervision.
Support senior leadership’s approval process by performing detailed analyses of change requests and developing technical change management plans.
Contribute to comprehensive project documentation by preparing detailed reports on achievements, risks, and plans.
Commissioning & Handover:
Support successful project commissioning by ensuring technical and operational requirements are met.
Facilitate effective project close-out by assisting in the transition of all deliverables.
Contribute to post-project evaluations by assisting in assessing performance and identifying areas for improvement.
Compliance, Safety, And Risk Management:
Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and industry standards throughout project execution.
Support compliance and risk management by identifying and addressing basic risks and industry-specific challenges.
Stakeholder Management:
Support effective communication and issue resolution by liaising with internal (management, departments) and external (licensors, vendors, contractors) stakeholders.
Ensure project requirements are captured and addressed by coordinating with stakeholders and communicating project status, issues, and resolutions.

Educational Qualification:
B. Tech / B.E in Chemical/ Mechanical/ Electrical/ Civil Engineering or related fields from a reputed institute/university.
A master's degree in the same or related field is preferred.
Work Experience (Range Of Years):
5-12 years of work experience with relevant experience in project execution and management in a similar industry.
