Roles And Responsibilities
- Coordinates open pit activities like drilling, blasting, excavation and transportation etc.
- Control pit operations to detect violation of safety regulations and compile safety and production records
- Responsible to ensure proper use and maintenance of personal protective equipment
- Responsible to ensure proper use and maintenance of personal protective equipment’s
- Control pit operations to detect violation of safety regulations and compile safety and production records
- Assist in work scheduling and planning
- Maintain accurate data/records/documentation
- carry out prescribed tasks/projects in accordance with contract requirements
- carry out allocated shift tasks/projects within set time limits
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, policies and procedures, codes of practice and legislation related to mine safety and environment as well
- Responsible for effective use of resources and control expenses to meet budgetary controls
- Ensure compliance of the conditions mentioned in Reg- 106(2b) of MMR-1961
- Oversee shift process and providing appropriate instruction to designated team
- Responsible to optimize the shift working hour
- Co-ordinate with team/contractors/suppliers and other stakeholders for augmentation of productivity
- Immediately report problems/constraints to the Line Manager that may impact on the organization

Education Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering, Geology, or related field
- Master's degree in Mining Management (preferred)
Experience
- 10 years of experience in the mining industry
- Proven track record of effectively managing shift operations
- Demonstrated leadership skills and experience in leading a team
