Assistant Manager - Smelter

Managing and overseeing the smelting process to ensure the efficient conversion of copper ore into high-quality copper metal

Implementing and maintaining safe work practices in the smelting operation, adhering to all relevant safety standards and regulations

Monitoring and optimizing smelting equipment and processes to maximize efficiency and productivity

Collaborating with the production team to achieve production targets and quality standards

Participating in the development and implementation of process improvement initiatives to enhance smelting operations

Conducting regular inspections and maintenance activities to uphold the integrity and functionality of smelting equipment

Managing and leading a team of smelting operators, providing guidance and support to ensure seamless operations

Reporting on production output, quality metrics, and any operational issues to the relevant stakeholders

Ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and sustainability practices within the smelting process

Education Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field

Certification Required

• Professional certification in metallurgy or related field is preferred
