Job Description:

Are you passionate about creating seamless payment experiences and driving impactful results? We’re looking for a dedicated Specialist Payments IA (intelligent Automation) EMEA to join our team!

In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Regional GS (Global Services) Procurement Payments & Experience organization to support Johnson & Johnson’s global business strategy and objectives.

You’ll work directly with the business, the GS Procurement Source-to-Contract team, and the broader procurement function to ensure our requestors and business partners enjoy a smooth, efficient engagement with the procurement process.

As an established and proactive individual contributor, you’ll operate under moderate supervision, helping to implement innovative projects, programs, and processes that align with our organizational goals. Your practical knowledge of the Payments function will be key in administering best-in-class policies, procedures, and plans that support our mission.

We are particularly interested in candidates who have hands-on experience in designing, developing, or maintaining low-code/no-code applications to automate workflows and enhance operational efficiency.

You Will Be Responsible For:

  • Conducts the day-to-day operations of the Payments function. Delivering based upon the agree SLAs and ensuring policy, tax, local and legal statutory compliance
  • Coaches more junior colleagues in techniques, processes and responsibilities.
  • Collaborate with multiple departments in the development and execution of strategies and plans that improve the organization’s profitability and competitive position, utilizing market intelligence and risk assessments.
  • Drives continuous improvements in user experience, effectiveness, and efficiency in assigned areas of responsibility.
  • Supports development and implementation of automation and AI (Artificial Intelligence) initiatives within assigned area of responsibility.
  • Designs and maintains low-code/no-code applications to automate workflows, improve data collection, and increase operational efficiency.
  • Develops and maintains reports and dashboards using smart/power tools (e.g., Power BI, Power Automate, Alteryx) to enable data-driven decision-making and process monitoring.
  • Create Value by establishing and nurturing strong relationships with key business partners and peers with a view to pro-actively understand and constructively influence their needs and expectations.

Qualification/Requirements:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent University degree is required.
  • An MBA or further advanced degree is preferred.

Experience And Skills:

Required:

  • 2-4 years of Procurement, Finance, or other relevant business experience
  • Hands-on experience in designing, developing, or maintaining low-code/no-code applications to automate workflows and improve operational efficiency.
  • Experience with data visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI, Power Automate, or similar platforms.
  • Collaboration, Communication & Influencing Skills: Should be regarded as a constructive player in various teams within the company and outside. Should have the requisite communication skills to communicate & influence objectives and then develop collaborative relationships both internally and externally to achieve them.
  • Learning Agility & Openness to Change.
  • Fluency in English (written and oral) is required.

Preferred:

  • Good understanding of Requisition-to-pay and Source-to-settle processes and operations is preferred.
  • Experience in one or more Procurement Functional domains: Sourcing incl. negotiation of commercial and non-commercial terms, Category management, R2P or Accounts Payable.
  • Experience supporting or implementing automation initiatives, including RPA and AI projects.
  • Shared Services Industry experience is preferred.

Other:

  • It might require up to 5% of domestic and international travel.
