Lead VFX Artist

Analyze the original game to understand its visual effects, style, and gameplay dynamics.

Define the overall VFX plan, creating clear tasks and building the VFX backlog for the production team.

Work closely with art direction and design to propose and conceptualize new effects that enhance and expand upon the original experience.

Once the planning phase is complete, take on a hands-on lead role, supervising daily work from artists, reviewing assets, giving feedback, and ensuring visual consistency and quality across the project.

Collaborate with technical artists and programmers to guarantee optimal performance and integration of effects in-engine.

Maintain strong communication with production to ensure schedules and milestones are met.

Proven experience as a VFX Lead or Senior VFX Artist in shipped titles (preferably AAA or high-quality indie).

Solid understanding of real-time VFX pipelines and tools (Unreal Engine preferred).

Strong artistic eye for composition, color, motion, and impact.

Ability to analyze and reinterpret existing visuals while proposing creative improvements.

Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Passion for games and respect for the source material when working on remakes.
