The Department of Surgery provides comprehensive and sub-specialty care in the areas of Cardiothoracic Surgery, General Surgery, Breast Surgery, Neurosurgery, Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery, Paediatric Surgery, Plastic Surgery, Urology and Vascular Surgery. The Department has 115 full-time and part-time faculty with a strong commitment towards teaching and research. Formal structured undergraduate teaching, postgraduate residency and fellowship programmes are integrated into the academic functions of the department.

Responsibilities:

You will have an independent consultant status and undertake undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, research, and specified administrative activities.  In addition, you should have demonstrated scholarship through research, publications and contribution to education.

Requirements:

You should have completed postgraduate training and possess FCPS, FRCS, American Board or equivalent with subsequent clinical, teaching and research experience.  For Senior Instructor, You should have at least two years’ experience in a reputable institution. 

Applicants for Assistant Professor should have at least two years’ experience as Senior Instructor or equivalent. In addition, they should have demonstrated scholarship through research, publications, and/or contribution to education.
