About The Role
As a Senior Scope Manager in the AR Software Domain, you will be a key member of the Intelligent Cockpit Business Unit within HARMAN Automotive. This individual contributor role requires strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration to drive product management and technical planning of next-generation AR-based ADAS solutions. You will closely partner with engineering, design, and business teams across Europe to manage product scope, timelines, and innovation.
What You Will Do
- Lead scope and planning activities for AR features within the Intelligent Cockpit program
- Define and track detailed work plans, timelines, WBS elements, and task-level progress for key deliverables
- Act as a functional owner and technical lead for AR domain initiatives, overseeing cross-location teams in Poland and Germany
- Partner with design and development teams to invent and prototype new AR features based on market and user research
- Coordinate with UX, hardware, and validation teams to ensure seamless integration of AR features across multiple disciplines
- Align feature roadmaps with spaces and business priorities, market needs, and competitive positioning to strengthen product-market fit
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to support business development activities and define feature requirements
- Support CAM and sales and proposal activities, including RFIs/RFQs, demo content creation, and client presentations
- Mentor junior team members in AR product development and planning processes, sharing knowledge and supporting onboarding efforts
- Lead cross-functional initiatives that require collaboration across product, platform, navigation, and design teams to ensure alignment within the Intelligent Cockpit program
- Participate as AR representative in process and product innovation committees to continuously evolve AR capabilities
- Solve complex system and organizational challenges by analyzing technical constraints, user expectations, and stakeholder feedback
- Lead or support creation of visual and video assets for demonstrations, including 2D, VR, and 360° content
What You Need to Be Successful
- 7+ years of experience in software product management or technical leadership roles, preferably in automotive or AR domains
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive feature delivery across geographies
- Strong understanding of software development processes and lifecycle management tools (JIRA, ALM, DOORS, etc.)
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
- Experience in customer interaction, business development, and pre-sales support
- Fluent in English; additional fluency in Ukrainian and Russian is a plus
Bonus Points if You Have
- Master’s degree in Engineering, HMI, or related technical field
- Experience working with AR or ADAS features in production programs
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools (Figma, Adobe Suite, Final Cut, etc.)
- Familiarity with ASPICE and Functional Safety (FuSa) standards
- Previous exposure to global automotive clients and stakeholder ecosystems
