This open position is for Armanino India LLP, which is located in India. Armanino India LLP is a fully owned subsidiary of Armanino (USA).
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain financial models for grant forecasting, program budgeting, and scenario planning.
- Lead cash flow forecasting and liquidity analysis to ensure sustainable operations.
- Create and refine management reporting packages tailored to board members, donors, and regulatory bodies.
- Analyze financial performance against budgets and funding forecasts, identifying key variances and offering actionable insights.
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to executive leadership and stakeholders.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of program costs, fundraising efficiency, and operational sustainability.
- Calculate and monitor impact metrics and financial KPIs relevant to non-profit goals.
- Anticipate client needs and deliver mission-aligned financial insights and solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integrated service delivery across finance, compliance, and program management.
- Drive continuous improvement in reporting and forecasting processes, enhancing transparency and accountability.
- Standardize documentation for financial processes, ensuring compliance with non-profit accounting standards and donor requirements.
- Stay informed on non-profit financial trends, regulatory changes, and best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- CPA, CFA, or or Certified Nonprofit Accounting Professional (CNAP) designation strongly preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, ideally within or serving non-profit organizations.
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, scenario analysis, and Excel; familiarity with VBA or Python is a plus.
- Experience with financial planning platforms (e.g., Adaptive Insights, Sage Intacct, Blackbaud, QuickBooks for Nonprofits).
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with experience engaging boards, donors, and executive teams.
- Demonstrated leadership in managing complex projects, cross-functional teams, and client relationships.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deliverables in a mission-driven environment
