Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM AWST (Perth Time), including a 30-minute paid break
Total Weekly Hours: 40 Hours

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory & Operations Coordinator to oversee and optimize inventory across warehouse and retail operations. In this role, you’ll ensure accurate stock control, timely replenishment, and efficient operational workflows. You will work closely with purchasing, logistics, and warehouse teams to forecast demand, coordinate supplier orders, and maintain precise inventory records.


Responsibilities

Inventory Management & Forecasting

  • Maintain accurate inventory across all Kinta Fitness warehouses and retail locations.
  • Forecast stock needs using sales data, promotions, and seasonal trends.
  • Monitor inbound and outbound stock to align with forecasts.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and full stocktakes to ensure system accuracy.

Purchasing & Supplier Coordination

  • Prepare and issue purchase orders to domestic and international suppliers.
  • Track shipments, coordinate with freight forwarders, and update internal systems.
  • Liaise with suppliers to resolve discrepancies and manage quality control.
  • Work with management to optimize purchasing schedules and reduce costs.

Operations & Reporting

  • Generate and analyze inventory and operational reports using Google Sheets, Excel, and inventory software (e.g., Cin7 Omni).
  • Provide weekly and monthly reporting on inventory turnover, forecast accuracy, and supplier performance.
  • Support warehouse operations through inter-location transfers and stock adjustments.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve system efficiency.

Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in inventory coordination, supply chain, or operations, ideally in retail, manufacturing, or distribution.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory control, purchasing, and supplier management.
  • Advanced skills in Excel or Google Sheets (formulas, PivotTables, charts).
  • Experience with inventory management software such as Cin7 Omni or similar.
  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong organizational and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with Australian suppliers and logistics networks is a plus.
