- 9 AM to 6 PM EST, Monday to Friday
We are seeking a Low-Code Application & Automation Engineer to design, develop,
and support applications and workflows that streamline operations, digitize manual
processes, and enable scalable business solutions. This role focuses primarily on the
Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) and other low-
code/no-code technologies, with the ability to extend solutions using full-stack
engineering skills (SQL, Python, APIs, .NET). The ideal candidate is a problem solver
who thrives at the intersection of business needs and technical implementation.
Key Responsibilities
Low-Code Application Development
o Build and maintain Power Apps (Canvas and Model-driven) to digitize
workflows and improve user experience.
o Design intuitive, user-friendly interfaces with strong UX principles.
o Extend low-code apps with custom connectors, Dataverse integrations,
and embedded automation logic.
Process Automation
o Develop RPA and workflow automations using Power Automate (cloud
and desktop).
o Identify opportunities to replace manual processes with automation
solutions.
o Build reusable automation components and ensure error handling and
scalability.
Data Integration & Reporting
o Connect apps and workflows to databases, APIs, and third-party
systems.
o Write optimized SQL queries for back-end data integration.
o Deliver Power BI dashboards connected to low-code applications for
actionable insights.
Full-Stack Extension
o Leverage Python, .NET, or JavaScript when low-code solutions require
advanced functionality.
o Build and manage REST API integrations to connect external systems.
o Support DevOps practices (Git version control, CI/CD pipelines) for hybrid
deployments.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
o Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements, document
processes, and design solutions that align with business goals.
o Support adoption and change management for new applications and
automations.
o Stay updated on emerging low-code technologies and propose
improvements to enhance efficiency and scalability.
Requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications Proven experience with the Microsoft Power Platform: Power Apps (Canvas &
Model-driven), Power Automate, and Power BI.
Strong understanding of Dataverse, SharePoint, and SQL databases.
Hands-on automation experience with RPA workflows and API connectors.
Ability to extend low-code solutions with Python, .NET, or JavaScript where
required.
Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, and data integration best practices.
Knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile
methodologies, and DevOps concepts.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to translate requirements into
functional solutions.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
Experience with Azure services (Logic Apps, Functions, Azure SQL, Azure AI).
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for Power Platform (e.g., Azure DevOps ALM).
Exposure to security, compliance, and data governance in application
development.
Background in change management and supporting business adoption of digital
tools.
