Job Description
You’ll be the first point of contact for enterprise prospects in the rapidly evolving energy sector, playing a crucial role in driving growth for a revolutionary B2B SaaS solution. This is your opportunity to combine technology sales with the clean energy transformation, where your prospecting efforts directly contribute to advancing sustainable power generation. You’ll work with proven playbooks and structured processes while building relationships with key decision-makers who are shaping the future of energy.

Responsibilities:
  • Execute high-volume daily outbound activities including 60+ calls, 40+ emails, and 20+ LinkedIn messages
  • Develop targeted prospect lists within the energy sector focusing on wind, solar, battery storage, and natural gas facilities
  • Follow structured multi-touch cadences through phone, email, and LinkedIn to reach key stakeholders
  • Overcome objections and navigate gatekeepers to connect with decision makers in energy organizations
  • Conduct thorough discovery calls to understand prospects’ challenges and qualify opportunities
  • Schedule demos and meetings between qualified prospects and account executives
  • Maintain detailed records of all activities and prospect information in HubSpot CRM
  • Achieve and exceed monthly quotas for qualified opportunities and meetings set
  • Collaborate with marketing team on messaging and lead generation strategies for the energy sector
  • Research prospects continuously to personalize outreach with relevant industry insights

Requirements:
  • 3-4 years of business development or sales experience, preferably in B2B SaaS or technology products
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field
  • Self-motivated with a hunter mentality and competitive drive
  • Excellent English communication skills with minimal accent (essential for rural energy sector clients)
  • Resilience and persistence for high-volume outbound calling with a go-getter mentality that doesn’t take no for an answer
  • Proficiency with LinkedIn Sales Navigator and social selling techniques
  • Strong time management skills to balance multiple outreach methods efficiently
  • Bonus if you have insurance sales or cold calling experience
  • It helps if you have basic understanding of energy markets, power generation, or utilities
