Position Overview:

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Compliance Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in ensuring regulatory compliance within centralized and regulated cryptocurrency/ banking exchanges. This role is pivotal in maintaining our commitment to security, transparency, and regulatory adherence.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and oversee compliance policies and procedures to ensure adherence to all applicable laws and regulations.
Monitor and review transactions and activities for potential compliance issues, ensuring timely reporting and resolution.
Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify areas of non-compliance and implement corrective actions.
Liaise with regulatory bodies and ensure timely submission of required reports and documentation.
Provide compliance training and guidance to staff, fostering a culture of compliance within the organization.
Stay abreast of changes in relevant laws and regulations and update internal policies accordingly.
Collaborate with other departments to integrate compliance measures into daily operations.
Prepare and present reports to senior management and the board on compliance matters.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Business, or a related field.
Proven experience working in a compliance role within a centralized and regulated cryptocurrency/ banking exchange.
In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in the cryptocurrency/ banking and financial services industries.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Professional certification (e.g., Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist, Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional) is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with regulatory bodies and compliance frameworks specific to the cryptocurrency/financial industry.
Understanding of blockchain technology and digital asset markets.
Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
