What will you do? 

 Take responsibility and implement automated build and deployment processes 

 Manage and create automated configuration for our Cloud environments 

 Build cloud-based monitoring and alerting capabilities 

 Maintain overall industry knowledge on latest trends, technology, etc. 

 Act as the coach and mentor to team members and technical staff

Qualifications

What do you need to succeed 

 Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or similar. 

 6+ years of experience with the following technologies/tools/fields: Elastic search, Messaging (Kafka, Redis etc), Monitoring and Visibility  Experience with Linux 

 Proven hands-on experience with CI/CD, preferably using Jenkins and ArgoCD 

 Strong Shell/Bash/Python scripting skills and ansible experience 

 Proven hands-on experience with Containers (Docker) and Orchestration tools (Kubernetes) and Helm 

 Experience with infrastructure as code, ideally Terraform 

 Strong working knowledge of AWS 

 Experience with version control systems (Git, Bitbucket) 

 Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and tools 

 Ability to clearly articulate design and implementation choices 

 Team player and excellent interpersonal skills 

 An Agile way of thinking
