Pay Range: $67,000 - $80,000 (annually)
Position Summary
The Assistant Director of Graduate Programs in Pharmaceutical Sciences will support the administration, growth, and visibility of Temple University School of Pharmacy (TUSP)'s graduate degree and certificate programs, including the PhD, thesis-based MS, non-thesis MS, and graduate certificates. Reporting to the Assistant Dean of Graduate Programs for Non-Thesis Master’s Degrees and Certificates, the individual will collaborate with key stakeholders across the school and university to strengthen recruitment, improve student outcomes, and expand the visibility of the graduate programs. This position works closely with the Assistant Dean of Marketing and Communications, Director of Graduate Studies, Department Chair of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Assistant Dean of Advancement, and Recruitment and Officers at the Graduate School.
Required Education and Experience
Master’s degree required (discipline in higher education administration, pharmaceutical or regulatory sciences, or related field preferred) and two (2) years of experience in academic advising, student services, or higher education administration required. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Required Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical sciences or related industry is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, virtual conferencing platforms, email communication, calendar management, and the ability to learn institutional systems.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present information effectively and craft professional correspondence and promotional content.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced academic environment.
- This position will be on-site.
