Your journey starts now—protect and innovate with MANTECH!MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Logistics Analyst I to join our vehicle sustainment team in Kindsbach, Germany. The selected candidate will provide logistics support to multiple families of vehicles globally on the Allied Logistics Engineering Capabilities Sustainment (ALECS) program and will support our U.S. Air Force contracts by ensuring the operational readiness of pre-positioned WRM, focusing on preventive maintenance, serviceability, and availability of critical medical materiel established by the Air Force, enabling rapid response during contingency operations.
*Important Note*: Selected candidates without an ACTIVE German/E.U. Work Visa will be required to work the first 60 days in a Temporary role while obtaining their Visa. Once an E.U. Work Visa is approved, then you will be offered a Full-Time German Contract. If accepted, then you will be subjected to paying German taxes, obtaining German Healthcare, and working within the guidelines of the German labor system.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Schedules preventive maintenance on War Reserve Materiel (WRM) assemblages and provides logistics support to critical WRM to ensure operational readiness per AFMAN 41-209 standards.
- Conducts regular serviceability inspections of WRM assets, identifying and resolving discrepancies to maintain full functionality.
- Manages the shelf-life extension programs (SLEP) for WRM, tracking expiration dates and coordinating replenishment of dated items as directed by Air Force protocols.
- Utilizes Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support (DMLSS) to monitor and update WRM inventory records, ensuring accurate tracking of serviceable materiel; record, maintain and initiate work order documentation for acquisition of component items from vendors.
- Packing, shipping, receiving, transporting of parts, items, and equipment; work independently with minimal supervision or guidance.
- Reports to Senior Logistician or Supply Supervisor and performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must obtain or already have an active Germany/E.U. Work VISA to be considered.
- 3+ years of qualified logistical experience and a High School diploma.
- knowledge of Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support (DMLSS) for inventory tracking and maintenance documentation.
- knowledge of Air Force logistics policies (e.g., AFMAN 41-209) related to WRM maintenance and serviceability
- 1+ years of experience in STAMIS including Standard Army Maintenance System-Enhanced (SAMS-E) operation and DPAS systems and use of GCSS-A.
- Experience in receipt, accountability, inventory and requisition of equipment, supplies and spare parts, and maintaining stock.
- Ability to successfully pass a Pre-Employment Drug Screening; must possess a Valid Driver’s License for the location in which the work will be performed, a High School Diploma or GED, and a Passport valid for at least one year beyond the start date.
- knowledge of Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support (DMLSS) for inventory tracking and maintenance documentation.
- knowledge of Air Force logistics policies (e.g., AFMAN 41-209) related to WRM maintenance and serviceability
- 1+ years of experience in STAMIS including Standard Army Maintenance System-Enhanced (SAMS-E) operation and DPAS systems and use of GCSS-A.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with military or commercial logistics supply system as well as automated and manual supply systems and equipment serviceability standards and criteria.
- Experience with U.S. Air Force AFSC 4A1X1 Medical Materiel Specialty or similar military logistics role.
- Familiarity with Allowance Standard Management System (ASMS) for WRM status monitoring.
- Prior experience ensuring materiel readiness in contingency or expeditionary operations.
Clearance Requirements:
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance prior to starting this position.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to balance, bend, carry, crouch, stretch and kneel.
- Must be able to push, pull, and reach.
- Must be able to work in high noise areas.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs and small parts.
- Must be able to work with computers and CRTs, and type on a computer keyboard.
