As a Product QA co-op, you will help develop our industry-leading simulation software while gaining real experience in your field of study. You will work on a variety of impactful projects to help maintain, advance, and accelerate Ansys products.
In this internship, you will support our Product QA Team. This is a 40-hour per week paid position starting August 2025 and concluding December 2025.
RESPONSIBILITIES
− Perform interactive and automated testing of Ansys software
- Debug tests and create new defects as applicable
- Review and investigate existing defects within Ansys software
- Collaborate with developers on different Ansys teams
- Create new automated tests using internal tools
- Analyze results and communicate findings to team members
- Adhere to all quality procedures when performing assigned tests
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
− Pursuing a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related technical degree with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
− Currently enrolled in a full-time degree program and returning to university after the completion of the internship program.
- PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Candidates should have hand-on experience with debugging software/hardware issues
- Candidates must show desire to develop coding experience skills
- Candidates should exhibit strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work individually
- Candidates should either have exposure to engineering simulation software and/or a strong desire to learn about engineering simulation software
- Candidates should have strong Windows system skills and at least some exposure to Linux operating systems
- Exposure/experience with coding is a good quality but not a must upon hiring
