Site Construction Supervisor

Wood (trading locally as WOOD KSS LLP) is currently looking for Site Construction Supervisor (KZ Passport holders) to join our team in Tengiz, Kazakhstan.

• Oversee BP’s construction activities from installation through handover for Civil/Structural and Electrical systems at designated jobsites
• Supervise construction work and carry out additional duties as assigned by the Construction Lead and/or Senior Project Engineer
• Coordinate daily work activities with Facility Owners, Construction BPs, subcontractors, and support teams to effectively maintain construction schedule
• Communicate regularly with the Senior Project Engineer and Construction Lead regarding interface management, work sequence, and SIMOPS (Simultaneous Operations) 
• Monitor construction progress to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, schedule adherence, and minimal rework
• Coordinate through BP site supervision, the daily/weekly craft personnel, materials, and equipment to meet construction schedules, including during SIMOPS operations
• Review work assignments with construction BP supervisors and provide guidance on methods and procedures to support efficient and compliant execution
• Provide daily and weekly progress reports for both civil and electrical work sequences, tracking completion against planned milestones
• Actively promote and contribute to the development of a strong safety and Incident and Injury-Free (IIF) culture across the project
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of safety policies and procedures, ensuring personal compliance and supervising others to uphold safe work practices
• Ensure Construction BPs execute work in accordance with approved plans, specifications, schedules, cost control estimates, and weekly/monthly lookahead plans
• Establish and maintain strong working relationships with facility owners and key BP site construction supervision
• Higher technical education 
• At least 10 years of experience on a relevant position in oil and gas companies
